Girbau

The Girbau Group’s R&D and manufacturing centre in France is to be called Société Girbau Robotics, replacing the previous name of Société Jean Michel.

The change completes the restructuring of the centre aimed at enhancing the process robotic equipment for laundries manufactured in this factory.

Since the acquisition of the French production centre, the Girbau Group’s joint working team at its central headquarters in Vic (Barcelona), along with the R&D and operations team in Aix-les-Bains, have completed the renovation of the full range of feeders, folders, stackers and monorail systems.

The French team’s comprehensive know-how with regard to both the market and the products, together with Girbau’s experience in the international market, has led to a significant leap forward in terms of the reliability, quality and performance of the machinery.

Commercial structure in France

Another of the changes introduced by the Girbau Group is the restructuring of the commercial network in the French market, led by the general manager of Girbau France, Antoni Conill.

The commercial team in Aix-les-Bains, specialising in large-scale laundries, has been merged with Girbau’s central office in Paris to avoid overlapping processes and to optimise customer service.
